5 things you recognize when you have a Beagle

The beagle, Charles Darwin called his boat after the breed and peanuts made a series about them. If you own a Beagle, you’ll know why the breed is so popular and you will for sure recognize these situations.

  1. Next level snoring

A Beagle loves his sleep. Especially when he has a comfortable dog bed and a ray of sun is shining on his head. You often find him lying on his back with his paws in the air.  And when they are really comfortable the snoring begins. Every time he starts snoring, you’re amazed by his snoring skills. But seeing your Beagle sleep makes it all up.

  1. As stubborn as… a Beagle

If you would train a Labrador with the same amount of time and patience you’ve trained your Beagle, you’d have had a guide dog. Beagles are super stubborn, but that’s what you love about them. A dog that always listens could be a bit boring, right?

  1. Escape artists

Beagles love to go their own way. Even if this means leaving the premises, they will do it. Luckily, they have a white tail tip that rises above most bushes and makes it easier to find them. If your Beagle loves to escape while he’s walking off the lead, you can try our 5m tow lead. This lead is long enough to let your Beagle do his own thing and you don’t have to worry about him trying to catch some rabbits.

  1. Hole digger

Hopefully, you were not very fond of your garden, because your Beagle will ‘redecorate’ it. Digging the holes is part of the catch the rabbit plan and will keep your Beagle busy for some time. To counteract his plan, you could try one of our dog toys. This will keep him entertained for sure!

  1. They smell everything

The nose of a Beagle is unbelievable. When the dog is outside and you start to cook, it takes 5 seconds for the Beagle to stand right next to you. Another bonus when you’re getting a Beagle is that it comes with a free dishwasher function. Beagles are really the foodies of dogs. What better way to honor Beagles than giving them a nice dog bowl.
