How do I get my dog used to a coat?

A coat takes some getting used to at first. So put the coat on the ground first and let your dog sniff it. Make your dog comfortable by rewarding it as soon as the coat is on its back. If your dog is calm, don’t forget to reward it. Let it grow accustomed to the coat slowly and start with 10 to 60 seconds, for example.
